Dear Valued Customers,
Due to the ongoing supply issues as a result of the global pandemic and the impact this is having on our major suppliers in Europe, the UK and the US, we are at this time unable to offer you certain product styles and colours that you may have been ordering from us in the past.
Alternative styles are also hard to come by, however we are doing all we can to ensure there is something to offer you.
This isn't only a problem in New Zealand, as all countries are facing the same stock supply issues.
Whilst we are still able to provide our custom framing service using the styles and colours available, there is a backlog of orders that take precedence over new orders and as a result our fixed custom framing turnaround is now a 'ring when ready' service.
We appreciate your understanding during these not so normal times and thank you for your ongoing support and business.
All our mats are available for purchase by themselves - not just with a frame. This colour range is only a small sample of what is available for purchase when ordering in-store where over 500 different colour options are available.
A selection of this range is also available in Acid Free as opposed to Standard.
Acid Free Mat Board
Acid Free mat board has a white core and is made from pH neutral papers that prevent discolouration. Yellowish-brown "burn lines" are caused by acids (mainly sulphuric) released as the lignin (ground wood) in pulp products breaks down. These boards also have a colourfast top sheet that means the colour of the mat board won't fade as quickly as standard mat board
Standard Mat Board
Standard mat board is a white core board with a decorative (coloured) top sheet.
In the size option box, the first size is the outside size and the second size is the opening.
eg: 8x6-6x4 is an 8x6 mat with an opening to suit an image that is 6x4
If you are ordering a A3, A2, 16x20 or 18x24 mat, include the size of the opening you would like cut into the mat - or the size of the border you would like in millimetres (mm). Include this in the 'Additional Comments' section of the payment screen.
